I know you like to change up your set lists and I am thankfull. But I want to propose to her durring Hotel Yorba. THE WHITE STRIPES TO RE-ISSUE ELEPHANT ON RECORD STORE DAY 2013
Here's some good, no, great news for you true White Stripes fans. Third Man Records has announced "Elephant" will be reissued for Record Store Day 2013. Here's what they say:
"Help us celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the White Stripes breakthrough album Elephant. This limited edition, colored, double LP is available exclusively for Record Store Day 2013 on April 20th. Black vinyl to be available later this year. If you don't already know about the White Stripes, just start here. LP1 is on split-color black and red vinyl, and LP2 is on white vinyl, all housed in a double pocket gatefold, tip on sleeve. It features an MP3 download card, printed inner sleeves and is mastered direct from the original analog source."

WHITE STRIPES FIRST EVER LIVE SHOW TO BE RELEASED
Third Man Records released their 13th Vault package today, on Jack White's birthday no less, and made hoards of White Stripes fans very, very happy. Included in their upcoming 13th Vault package will be the first ever White Stripes live show, recorded at Detroit's now-defunct Gold Dollar club on August 14, 1997. Of course this will be a vinyl only release. Also included in the package is a 7-inch red vinyl recording from an earlier performance at an open mic night at the Gold Dollar on July 14, 1997. Finally, rounding out the package is a peppermint 12" record black tote bag with 2 sided & inner print. According to TMR, the design is based off the original peppermint painting by Jack White.

This month's "Interview" features an extensive.. uh, interview with Jack White by none other than Buzz Aldrin. Try to pick yourself up a copy before it leaves stores. "ALDRIN: You have a song on the album called "Love Interruption"? What's that about?
WHITE: Well, as a songwriter, it's really dangerous to use the word love in a song. It's a word that has been used in songs so many millions of times before, and it's the most popular topic to ever write about. So I thought that if I was going to be brave enough to actually use the word love in a song, I better be trying to make people think about it—and make myself think about it. I really wanted to stir up the notion of what love could mean, and what we really want when we say that word. It's a very powerful word.
ALDRIN: When love is interrupted, doesn't that mean you've been jilted?
WHITE: I think so, yeah. I think that sometimes love gets in the way of itself—you know, love interrupts itself. We want things so much that we sabotage them."
