JACK WHITE INTERVIEWED IN "INTERVIEW" MAGAZINE BY BUZZ ALDRIN
This month's "Interview" features an extensive.. uh, interview with Jack White by none other than Buzz Aldrin. Try to pick yourself up a copy before it leaves stores. "ALDRIN: You have a song on the album called "Love Interruption"? What's that about?
WHITE: Well, as a songwriter, it's really dangerous to use the word love in a song. It's a word that has been used in songs so many millions of times before, and it's the most popular topic to ever write about. So I thought that if I was going to be brave enough to actually use the word love in a song, I better be trying to make people think about it—and make myself think about it. I really wanted to stir up the notion of what love could mean, and what we really want when we say that word. It's a very powerful word.
ALDRIN: When love is interrupted, doesn't that mean you've been jilted?
WHITE: I think so, yeah. I think that sometimes love gets in the way of itself—you know, love interrupts itself. We want things so much that we sabotage them."

As you may know, Jack White drops Blunderbuss on us this week. I'm sure many of you are foaming at the mouth already, wanting to drive like a bat out of hell to your favorite record store to pick up this sure to be delicious ear candy. LAST DAY TO ENTER CONTEST TO WIN WHITE STRIPES ITEMS
Last month on February 21st WhiteStripes.net and the Little Room turned 10! During these past ten years we watched the White Stripes evolve into one of the best rock 'n roll bands of all time and go out on top! So, with that said, I have decided to run a contest/donation drive. The contest contains some rare items and your donation will help out with regards to the hosting costs for the website as well as the Little Room messageboard. Here's the skinny. For just a $10 donation to WhiteStripes.net you will be entered in the running for not one, but TWO Rob Jones White Stripes concert posters. I have collected these over the years and have obtained duplicates from time to time. The first poster is from a show I attended (and was lucky enough to meet Jack and Meg!). June 23rd, 2003 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The second poster is from the November 24, 2003 show in Camden, NJ. Also included will be the Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground 7" single, released back in 2002. To make things more interesting for every $5 donated after the initial $10 you will receive another entry. So, for example, a $15 donation throws your name in the hat twice. Along with the posters and 7" vinyl single, the winner will receive some various items (stickers, pins, etc) from the load of Icky Thump promotional material I still have. The winner will be drawn random style and will receive an email from me shortly after the contest ends AT MIDNIGHT EST Friday, March 16th. The winner will also be announced in the news feed on WhiteStripes.net

JACK WHITE PLAYS AN EXCELLENT MIX OF TUNES AT THIRD MAN RECORDS
This article from Nashville Scene, which should make you White Stripes fans happy, tells the tale on last night's show at Third Man Records. Jack White played a mix off stuff of Blunderbuss, as well as from the Raconteurs, the Dead Weather and the White Stripes! I for one am very happy to hear that Jack White may play select White Stripes tracks during his Blunderbuss tour! These tunes are too good to be packed away! Here's the set list from last night:
